Join us on Sunday, May 10 for a special morning worship service at 9:15 am as we celebrate Mother’s Day with our special guests, Missi Kline and Claudette Garber!
Missi Kline was born and raised in Lancaster County. The youngest of seven children, she was raised in a Christian home where she started to sing almost as soon as she could talk! At the tender age of five, Missi started singing solos in her home church and has never stopped! She enjoys singing a variety of styles from Southern Gospel to Contemporary Christian music. With a wide vocal range, she is able to sing many songs that others cannot.
Missi still lives in the southern Lancaster County area with her 95-year-old father and her cat Zulu. She is looking forward to sharing her music ministry with us on Mother’s Day.
Our speaker is Claudette Garber, who is a wife, mother, and cancer survivor. Claudette retired from Cedar Crest Middle School, where she was a library assistant for fourteen years. She and her husband, Bob, are serving with Handi*Vangelism Ministries International as BASIS support group leaders for parents who have lost a child. They lost their daughter, Christine, 29 years ago. Claudette also has a daughter, Stacy, and is enjoying being a grandmother to her one-year-old granddaughter Hannah Christine.
Claudette’s desire is to help parents who have lost children through the grieving process and find a new normal in their lives.
